You want to make Rob flip, make a chocolate cake with the lemon filling, and decorate it with liquor labels and big words.

This is amazing. Is the cake covered with fondant or frosting? My roses never turn out that nicely. I have trouble getting the icing soft enough and yet firm enough. I've usually been lazy and bought the tube stuff at the store, and it's really hard to work with. I haven't attempted a vegan home version yet. That's why I'm wondering what you use to see if I can veganize it.

Ouch! I just fainted from how amazing that is and knocked myself unconscious.
Was this for your class or is it the one for your friends wedding? I've had weddings the last two weekends and I know one of them paid $400 for the cake and it was not even 1/2 as impressive (and even began to fall prior to the reception)
